We offer a variety of performing, visual, culinary and cinematic art camps as well as science and
literary-based camps. The camps are designed to immerse each child in theme-related activities to feed a passion or spark a new interest. Each day, campers will learn, create, and experience the magic of the theme they choose. Imaginations are our guide!

The Springfield Y offers full-day summer camps at one community location where we also operate before and afterschool programs during the school year: Rochester Elementary 2-3 School. Our Rochester summer camp is open to any child interested in summer camp (ages 5-12). The pick up and drop off for our Rochester camp is at the school location.

YMCA Camp Wa-Kon-Tah has hosted campers for over 60 years at our 26-acre Lake Springfield property. Campers will spend a majority of their time between our campgrounds and the Downtown Branch. Our campers will go on a variety of age appropriate field trips on Fridays. Campers are divided into age groups (Adventurers - ages 5-6,
Explorers - ages 7-12, Leaders - ages 13-15) and have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities throughout
the summer.

The Y offers a variety of camps. Whether your child enjoys nature, art, sports, science or all of the above! We have the camps for you.

The Y's Youth Sports philosophy stresses that each child has an equal opportunity to play, win and score. All Y sports camps focus on sportsmanship, teamwork, learning and having fun. Children are grouped by skill level to assist them in reaching their next level of accomplishment. Our gymnastics camps also include swimming and other play activities and are the only full-day sport camp offered.
